The Sweet Revenge- Afroza Ayreen Afia_X-A
Starting a story is not an easy task but when your best friend wants your help for a revenge you know that she asked the right lady. Sara is one of my best friends, she’s a huge crazy fan of Lionel Messi and talking mean about Messi is the worst thing you can say to her.
Sara and one of her friend, Chloe were having an argument about who’s the best, Messi or Ronaldo. Both were heated up and it literally seems like they were having a debate. At the end, Chloe (who was a fan of Ronaldo) won. Later that day, she kept on teasing her and Sara tried her best to stay calm. When she could no longer tolerate it, she came to me and asked,
“Chloe is talking about Messi!”
I failed to realize why she complained about that. “So, what?”
“SO, WHAT!? She’s talking all bad stuff about him!” I listened to her carefully as she explained what happened in the previous argument.
“Okay, so…what should I do?”
“Can you write a story or poem!”
“A Story or a Poem!? Why?”
“You know what her brother told?”
I shook my head.
“Jingle Bell, Messi fell,
Real Madrid on the way…”
That was a good line but if you’re a fan of Messi, that’s exactly what you don’t want to hear. So, I immediately started planning for revenge. After a couple of days, this is the story I ended up with.
“One day, there was a pretty lady named Chloe and her friend was Ronaldo. Both planned to have a picnic at the playground, under a blossom tree. What they didn’t know is that they weren’t the only one having a good time, Messi and Neymar were having a great time too. They were having a tough football match but it seems like they were enjoying it.
Chloe and Ronaldo were having a good time with a cup of coffee and cookies when suddenly, SPLASH!
A football hit the coffee cups and the coffee was all over Chloe’s expensive designer dress. She swiftly jumped up and hopped around. The coffee was too hot. She screamed but that gave her no relief. So, she yelled at Ronaldo, “Ronaldo, do something!”
At first, Ronaldo was dumbstruck and didn’t know how to react. He blinked his eyes several times to make sure of what saw. Chloe’s dress was ruined and her makeup was ruined too. Looks like she had her first coffee shower. Ronaldo got his sense back, got up and walked towards Messi, who was laughing at the scene.
“What was that for? You think it’s funny, huh?”
“Yeah man! She looks much better that before” Neymar commented.
“How dare you!”
Messi stepped it, “Come on man! That was the best shot in the history of football!”
“WHAT! That’s it, I’ll show you the best shot in the history of football!” Ronaldo got furious and began searching for the ball.
“Are you looking for the ball? Here it is!” Said Neymar with the ball under his foot.
“Give me that!”
“No Way!”
“Or else you have to pay for her dress!”
“We’ll pay for the dress if you win a match against us”
“That’s a good idea Neymar, and if we win, your lady has to do something we say! Deal?”
“Deal!”
Soon the match began and it was a tough plus crazy match while Chloe was still standing there with her wet dress which smells like coffee. After 2 minutes, Messi and Neymar ended up with 5 points and Ronaldo with 1 point only. Ronaldo was exhausted and Messi and Neymar laughed with joy.
“So, Ronaldo? 5 and 2. No doubt we won!”
Ronaldo was laying on the ground and at the moment, all he was thinking about is having a few minutes of rest. He literally forgot about Chloe. “Fine! You won.”
Messi and Neymar walked with pride towards Chloe who was still wet. Neymar had a towel in his bag, so he took that out and gave it to her. Then they told her to post what they say:
“I’m officially a fan of Messi and Neymar. I hate Ronaldo because he couldn’t even give me a towel to dry up! ~Chloe”.
That was a Sweet Revenge.
