Shopping is something I love if I get to buy something for myself and especially if they are clothes. The love between girls and shopping is a legend. You take a girl to a dress store; she will either buy the whole garment shop or die trying on all the clothes. If she is with her friend(s) then you might as well buy the shop. I’m not a fashion freak and yet I tend to spend over 3 hours in a dress store trying all the dresses I would never wear and leave by buying a bracelet or nothing at all.
Will someone, who is really jobless, please find out the scientific reason behind this? Not that I’m in a hurry to read that and change my ways of shopping, I’m just curious why I face a problem in selecting clothes. I find my Brother buying clothes in record time. He would just stroll in a store, grab this and that, and will be out in a flash, all the while I will be still searching for a store!
I am going to say the steps in which I select dresses. Hopefully someone jobless can tell me why I take so much time. Well, I go to a store and make 2 laps of it, taking along the outfits I like at first glance. Then in the trial room I separate them from the cluster to “the ones that I like on me” and “the ones I would wear to a funeral”. Then from the bunch which I like, I separate it further to “the ones I look good in” and “the ones that look good on me”. Both are two different things. If you can’t understand that, I’m sorry, I’m really lazy to explain it to you. Then after the segregation, I hunt down the correct size for me and voila- I’m done.
Now that I’ve written down what all I do, I still can’t figure out what is wrong. This is one of the reasons why I wish I was born as a boy. They don’t over think such things. I mean I don’t see a boy writing an article about why he could buy clothes faster than a girl.
