FAREWELL- By Hanna Abdul Khader XI-B

She knew her sudden decision of discovering the secret door of her new house won’t lead to a happy ending. She turned on the torch with shaky hands. She went down the stairs. The room was so silent that she could listen to her own heartbeats. She looked around the room and saw blood marks on the wall. She regretted her decision when she heard someone sing beside her. It was inaudible but it gave her creeps. She wanted to get out that room as soon as possible. So she ran up the stairs but only to be brought flying back by an unknown force. She hit her head really bad and she felt blood dripping down from her head. Her torch flew from her hand and now she was in darkness. The only source of light was the moonlight. She squinted her eyes into the darkness and saw a figure forming in it. The first thing she noticed was the blood red eyes staring at her wickedly. That figure came near her and smiled at her. “That smile is the indication of my death” she thought to herself. The figure raised her hand and the knife shined in the moonlight. She closed her eyes to welcome her death. FAREWELL said the figure……”and cut! It was a good shot. Both of you did it really well” told the director to the lead heroine and the ‘ghost’ who thanked him and removed the red contacts. Both of them laughed and went up the stairs.
